Watch Disbanded Necklace: a bit of Sartorial 'Dr. Suess'-ishness

Just listed this one in my shop.  I get endless pleasure repurposing watch bands into necklaces & earrings, but better still is coining a new adjective - Dr. Suess-ish-ness.  Just try saying that 3 times fast!

Microstudies: Adventures in Mixed Media

These 1.5" x 1.5" 3-D paintings were created to parallel pieces of jewelry previously created.  The paintings are photographed on top of photos of the correlative jewelry.  I have an order for twelve more.

Stop Motion Fireworks

Though I've been making new jewelry nonstop, I haven't listed anything new in a while...naughty!  Time to get my act together.  Stop Motion Fireworks- Cascade Earrings are especially suited to accompany, say, a 4th of July picnic- or a fancy evening out.

Feeling Chic-ish

On March 27th, 2012, I was deemed officially stylish.

Stylish enough to be photographed and interviewed by Morgan Jordan for Bethesda Magazine's B Chic Style Blog.

Click here to read the interview- and please, try to ignore my awkward phrasing:  I'm an extemporization rookie.

My only true regret is that I was so minimally bedecked in Klewism Jewelry.
The pieces I was wearing in the photo (left) are so subdued
[relatively] that I feel compelled to include an in-your-face collage of one of the rings I was wearing...

     There!  That is much better.

Bidding Anthropomorphized Angels Adieu

I'm saying farewell to two of my rings.  It took me a post on In Harsh Light to express the elaborate 'embalming' ceremony and memorialization which I go through every time I sell a piece- which, in effect became a memorial to my memorialization ceremonies.

In the midst of the memorial-mania, I managed to throw in images of the recently sold rings in digital photo collages.

Farewell, "Votary of Narcissus" Ring...

Adieu, pretties.

Klewism In Harsh Light

I'm honored to the point of delirium to now be an author on the razor-wit, erudite-hipster, culture vulture "IT" blog In Harsh Light along with the founder of the feast Richard Sanchez, plus co-bloggers- Mario Munoz, AndrĂ©a Balt, & Morpiedra Vasolez.

My inaugural post "An Absurdist Vignette, or a Conversation with Richard Sanchez" seemed to go off swimmingly- smashing good fun complete with Scarface and Highlander references.

Take a look at In Harsh Light, which has recently been featured on "Freshly Pressed".

Sean Connery is truly fabulous in peacock feathers, is he not?
